The Truth and Reconciliation Calls to Action are important for educators because they provide guidance on how to incorporate Indigenous perspectives and worldviews into their teaching practice, as well as how to create safe and inclusive learning environments for Indigenous students. As an educator, I will implement the Calls to Action to help promote reconciliation and work towards a more equitable education system for all students.
