The Professional Standards for BC Educators include nine standards that BC educators must adhere to. Last updated in June of 2019, these standards ensure that we have quality educators in BC, and that our students are receiving the best education possible. My teaching practice is guided by these 9 standards, and I look to them as both the ideals that I aim to meet, and the reasonable expectations that I am held to.
