Land Acknowledgement

For my EDLL 3200: Language and Literacy course in the education program, I wrote a personalized land acknowledgment. Creating this land acknowledgment is useful for my teaching practice as it allows me to express my gratitude for the land I am on, and to honor the Indigenous people who have lived and worked on the land historically and presently. The following land acknowledgment recording was created while on the traditional lands of the Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc within Secwépemc’ulucw, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc.
